Collection: Jesus is Trans...

Some Christians have a hard time with trans people. This design is a playful reminder that Jesus is Trans...ubstantiation.

This Trans Positive design plays with religious dogma and language in a challenge to religious hypocrisy.

Jesus (according to some arguably fictional books) loved and protected the most marginalized in his community. It is discordant with his teachings to reject the trans community.

This design calls attention to the dogma that some Christians like the Catholics believe that in the ceremony of the Eucharist, the bread literally becomes the body of Jesus. (Not symbolic, literal human flesh). If something can look exactly like bread on the outside, but be a man on the inside, then there should be no issue with someone assigned female at birth also being a man on the inside.

This process of bread changing into literal human flesh is called, Transubstantiation.

So while the challenge is the visual attention to Trans, there is literally nothing blasphemous about this design.

The trans community belongs and deserves to feel safe in daily life, but we know that is not always the case. The design challenges Christians but also gives the wearer a path out of conflict through Transubstantiation.
